1. Scope and Teaching Services
(1) These Terms and Conditions apply to paid online Spanish lessons provided by Nahela – Speak Spanish Today! (“Nahela”).
(2) Nahela offers general Spanish lessons, conversation lessons, and group lessons for teenagers and adults at different proficiency levels, including complete beginners.
(3) Each lesson lasts 60 minutes unless otherwise agreed. Lessons take place online, generally through Microsoft Teams.
(4) For students under the age of 18, the contract must be entered into by a parent or legal guardian.
(5) A specific learning outcome within a particular period is not guaranteed.
2. Prices and Payment
(1) The following prices apply:
Individual lessons:
- General Spanish lessons: €26 per 60 minutes
- Spanish conversation lessons: €20 per 60 minutes
Group lessons:
- 3 to 5 participants: €15 per person per 60 minutes
General Spanish lesson packages:
- 5 lessons: €122
- 10 lessons: €233
- 15 lessons: €332
Spanish conversation packages:
- 5 lessons: €89
- 10 lessons: €170
- 15 lessons: €242
(2) Payment is made by bank transfer against an invoice. Lesson packages are paid in advance. Individual lessons are generally invoiced together on a monthly basis unless otherwise agreed.
(3) The payment deadline is stated on the invoice.
(4) Organizational and payment arrangements for group lessons are agreed upon in advance.
(5) Teaching materials provided for the lessons are included in the price. Students are responsible for their own printing costs.
3. Booking and Scheduling
(1) Lessons are booked through Nahela's online booking system.
(2) Subject to availability, appointments may generally be booked up to six weeks in advance.
(3) Where a teaching contract already exists, an appointment becomes binding once confirmed by the booking system. A new paid teaching contract is formed when the essential contractual terms have been agreed upon and Nahela accepts the agreement.
(4) Specific lesson times are guaranteed only where individually agreed.
(5) Group lesson schedules and participant numbers are agreed upon in advance.
4. Lesson Packages and Validity
(1) The following periods are intended for using lesson packages:
- 5-lesson package: 1.5 months
- 10-lesson package: 3.5 months
- 15-lesson package: 6 months
(2) The relevant period begins on the agreed start date, but not before the paid lessons can be booked.
(3) Packages are intended for regular attendance within these periods. Extensions may be agreed upon individually.
(4) Lessons that cannot be attended because Nahela cancels them or does not offer available appointments remain available. The usage period will be extended accordingly, or the undelivered service will be refunded.
(5) Unused lessons after the intended usage period, as well as early termination, are governed by applicable law. Paid lessons will not automatically be forfeited without compensation.
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Late Arrival
(1) Booked lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge by email or WhatsApp at least 24 hours before the scheduled start.
(2) For later cancellations or non-attendance, the agreed fee may remain payable in accordance with applicable law. Any expenses saved or alternative use of the released appointment will be taken into account.
(3) Customers retain the right to demonstrate that no payment or compensation is due, or that the amount due is substantially lower.
(4) If a student arrives late, the lesson will generally end at the originally scheduled time. If the student does not attend, Nahela may end the session after 15 minutes.
(5) If Nahela cancels a lesson, an alternative appointment will be arranged. If this is not possible, the lesson credit will remain available or the undelivered service will be refunded.
(6) If Nahela arrives late, the lost teaching time will be made up or refunded.
(7) The mandatory statutory rights of both parties remain unaffected.
6. Technical Requirements and Learning Environment
(1) Students need a stable internet connection, a suitable device (desktop computer, laptop, or tablet), a camera, and a microphone or headset.
(2) Lessons take place through Microsoft Teams or a provided access link.
(3) Students should attend lessons in a quiet environment with minimal interruptions. Participation while driving or engaging in other activities that prevent safe and focused learning is not permitted.
(4) If technical problems occur, both parties will seek a reasonable solution. If the problem is within Nahela's area of responsibility, the lost teaching time will be made up or refunded. In all other cases, applicable law governs the situation.
(5) For minors, parents or legal guardians assist with providing the necessary equipment and teaching materials.
7. Teaching Materials and Copyright
(1) Nahela provides the required teaching materials before or during lessons and indicates which materials, if any, should be printed.
(2) Materials created by Nahela may be used, saved, and printed for personal learning purposes in connection with the booked lessons.
(3) Publishing, sharing with third parties, or commercially using these materials without prior permission is not permitted unless authorized by law.
(4) Materials belonging to external publishers or other copyright holders remain subject to their respective copyright provisions.
8. Recordings and Data Protection
(1) Audio, video, or image recordings of lessons are permitted only with the prior consent of all persons concerned, unless otherwise permitted by law.

9. Contract Termination and Refunds
(1) Booking an individual lesson does not create an obligation to book additional lessons.
(2) If a lesson package is terminated early, payment for lessons already delivered and any refund entitlements are governed by applicable law.
(3) Both parties may terminate the contract for good cause in accordance with applicable law.
(4) In cases of serious disruption, particularly insults, threats, or serious violations of personal boundaries, Nahela may terminate the teaching arrangement in accordance with applicable law.
(5) Statutory rights, including any applicable consumer right of withdrawal, remain unaffected.
