Speak Spanish Today!
I'm Nancy, a certified Spanish teacher and native speaker from Mexico. I help teenagers and adults speak Spanish with greater confidence – through clear explanations, patience, and personalized support.
Online lessons available in English, Spanish or German.

Many learners struggle not because they lack talent. Often it's fear of making mistakes, insecurity when speaking, bad experiences from school, perfectionism or a lack of confidence in their own abilities.
That's exactly where Nahela comes in.
Personal guidance
Language learning is also an emotional process. When you feel safe, you learn more easily. When you feel understood, you stay motivated. When you build confidence, you dare to speak.
My lessons combine clear explanations, structure and empathy with a safe and motivating learning atmosphere. What matters to me is that my students don't just understand grammar, but feel more confident step by step and see real progress.
I want to speak Spanish more confidently
About me
I'm a native Spanish speaker from Mexico, a certified teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE), and the founder of Nahela.
Before becoming a Spanish teacher, I spent almost 23 years working in international logistics, first in Mexico and later in Germany. It was a world of structure, precision, problem-solving and working with people across countries and cultures. That experience still shapes the way I work today: I like things to be clear, purposeful and well structured.
Living in Germany also gave me another perspective. I know what it is like to find your way in another language — to search for the right words, make mistakes and still want to be understood. It taught me that learning a language is not only about what you know, but also about having the confidence to use it.
Languages had always been part of my life, but teaching entered it almost without me noticing. Raising my daughters in a German-Mexican family, I wanted them to grow up connected to my language and culture. I searched for books, games and creative ways to bring Spanish into their everyday lives. I translated their German storybooks, adapted materials and created activities of my own. Looking back, I realise that they were my first students.
Through them, I discovered how much I enjoyed finding different ways to explain something and seeing the moment when it finally made sense. I also learned something that still guides my teaching today: people learn differently when they feel comfortable asking questions, trying things out and making mistakes.
What began naturally at home eventually became a new professional direction. I became a certified teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) and completed further training focused on teaching teenagers, adults and online learners. My certification was issued by Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes in Spain.
Nahela grew out of everything those different chapters taught me: the value of structure and clarity, the experience of living between languages and cultures, and the importance of creating an environment where learning can happen without the pressure to be perfect.
Today, I bring those elements together in every lesson: clear explanations, thoughtful structure, individual support and meaningful opportunities to use Spanish. Because learning a language is not only about understanding it. It's about feeling able to use it.
